“Rethinking science and technology for the 21st century” is a series of blogs from Andrew Maynard on his 2020 Science blog site. They draw on a recent lecture given at the James Martin School in Oxford. He puts up a new post in the series each week.

Andrew essentially expands on what he could only briefly touch on in the lecture.  It is a great intro to nanotech and the vital stuff we need to consider if, as Andrew puts it, “we are to ensure science and technology are developed and used appropriately in an increasingly technologically-dependent world.”

If you are a teacher trying to introduce nano to senior high school levels, this is a great start for the teacher and the student.
